- I have a PhD. in Land and Water Resources Engineering and Technology with Environmental Science; have over 40 years of experience including over 25 years of post-doctoral experience and substantial period of experience was in environment (including social assessment, poverty analysis & Gender issues and indigenous people), assessment of climate change, their mitigation and adaptations leading to. IEE, EIA, EARF, SEA, EMMP for PPTA, FS, ESMP, also Due Diligence, project implementation, compliance monitoring & regular reporting, M&E including all documentations of donor funded projects, mainly ADB, World Bank, JICA, USAID, etc. Also, in capacity building and institutional development of various agencies and organizations including NGOs. Having worked in Sri Lanka, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Mauritius, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Indonesia and China, also, at International Rice Research Institute and International Water Management Institute.

Most of environmental assessment and compliance monitoring experience was with donor funded projects both in infrastructure projects such as Dams weirs and reservoirs, storm/flood water control, also in hydro-power development; water supply & sanitation; sewerage & waste management; housing and sport complexes, roads/transport, social amenities, various utilities, industries, energy, etc., and natural resources management (land, water resources, biodiversity).
