• I am currently serving as Community Health Officer on the USAID-Community Health Activity Program in Bong County with seven (7) health facilities across three health districts. As Project Officer, parts of my responsibilities are: To support Community Health Services Supervisors (CHSS) in carrying out their supervision with Community Health Assistants. Mentor Community Health Assistants in rolling out Social Behavior Change and Communication (SBCC). Build the capacity of Community Health Committee (CHC). Facilitate monthly Health Facility Development Committee Meeting in seven (7) health facilities. Facilitate awareness on patient referral path. Follow up on Open Defecation Free (ODF) and Open Defecation (OD) communities through the Community Led Total Sanitation activities. Facilitate Family Planning training and awareness in collaboration with the health facilities. Monitor all WASH activities in three in Bong County under the USAID CHA Project. Precisely Sanoyea and Zota Districts.

• I served as Community Support Officer (CSO) with Lutheran Development Services in Zota District Bong County. My responsibilities were as follows: Supporting eight (8) communities in establishing Community Health Committees during the ECAP 2 Program. Provide training for Community Health Committees on how to disseminate the Ministry of Health approved messages using the Listen Learn and Act methodology introduce by Population Services International (PSI). I was also responsible to informed them of their roles and responsibilities as Community Health Committee’s members in their community. I used COMCARE on this project to collect and send data.
