- As Consultant, 1. I run an Obstetric Clinic on Mondays where I see 40 to 60 patients 2. I run a Theatre list on Tuesdays where I do 2-3 Gynaecological surgeries (about 2 major) and 2-3 elective caesarean sections 3. I run a gynaecological clinic on Thursdays where I attend to 15-25 patients 5. Grand Ward Round on Fridays with all other Unit Consultants for patients on admission. 6. I take a weekend call monthly/alternate monthly, take 1-2 week day calls weekly. 7. On Wednesdays we hold our full clinical meeting for 3-4 hours where we handle clinical cases and discuss academic topics in detail. 8. On all other week days, from 8am to 9.30am, all cases managed in the labourward and gynaecological emergencies 9. I am in charge of coordinating the OBGYN emergency room ensuring that it is well run 10. For over 10 years, I have been the Deputy Project Coordinator for the UBTH Family Planning.

- Clinical Professional and Academic Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology involving writing an entrance examination called Primary, writing 20 short clinical cases and two long projects in Obstetrics and Gynaecology respectively and taking a detailed Part 1 exam to move from position of a Registrar to Senior Registrar after 2 and a half years of rigorous training in clinical and academic training. After a further 3 years of clinical and academic training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, writing the Part 2 Examination that qualifies one as a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons. The total duration of this course is 6 years and the Part 2 Fellowship qualifies one to be employed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and also as a Lecturer 1 in the University System in Nigeria
