- In the past 10 years I have had opportunities to serve in various capacities for the stated organisations. My main roles were in the departments of metallurgy under production. I worked with information, plant equipment, data, fellow engineers and liaised with different departments to maximise resources aimed to meeting production targets. I was accountable for safety and environmental compliance to company and statutory laws, production planning, maintenance planning, budgeting and cost control, people management, production reporting, report writing for Senior Management, monitoring complaince with metallurgical accounting systems, monitoring compliance with analytical laboratory services, managing contracts with suppliers, leave plans and scheduling, training needs and capacity building, acting for plant manager, helping process control engineers with troubleshooting process upsets and fine tuning expert systems, checking plant log sheets, checklists, safety Attendance, safe work permits and time sheets. I also liased with mining with mining teams for mine-to-mill philosophy implementation, checking of compliance for planned head grade against delivered head grade, use of laboratory test works to determine optimum treatment routes for various ores. These are are among some of my skills from previous roles.
