• At the Franklin's Farm, I was involved in planting of wheat, processing of maize and bagging of soyabeans. Wheat being a winter crop in Zimbabwe is planted between May and June. During wheat planting, we planted 7 different varieties using a tractor; before planting, these varieties were mix with chemical to prevent pests and disease attack and promote growth. Some chemical used were seed power and Qwenihelp Chemical. We planted and harvested three varieties of soyabeans, these soyabeans were bagged in 50 kg and then sold to SeedCo. We harvested 25 hectares of maize which produce 120 tonnes . These maize were dried, grind, processed and bagged and sold as maize seeds to SeedCo Zimbabwe Ltd.

• The Crake Valley Farm is a farm engage only in coffee. During my time at the farm, I worked directly in the field helping the farmer carry-out the different agronomic practices to keep the coffee in good shape. We carryout the soil testing and compost to the soil and these compost where make from the coffee waste, we clear the land and planted these coffee. Coffee was transplanted to the field. Pruning, mulching and irrigation were carryout regularly. I had the opportunity to pick coffee and took it to the factory for processing. During the processing, coffee were graded and send in the drying room where it was dried at its appropriate temperature, after then, graded again and sent to the roasting machine where it was roasted and grindle into coffee powder to be market.
